Susan D. Jacques, OTR/L, LMT (co-owner)
Susan received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois
as an Occupational Therapist in 1996. Her focus turned from working
in traditional healthcare settings to using more holistic approaches
to maintain and increase functional health soon after. Before moving
to Arizona in 2002, she owned her own business, Absolute Balance, in
the Chicago area.
In addition to her Occupational Therapy licensure, Susan maintains her
Massage Therapy License and is also a Nationally Certified Advanced
Colon Hydro-therapist. Susan has found her passion, using these hands-on
approaches to assist clients in their goals of health and healing.
Her advanced skills in the John Barne’s Myofascial Release techniques
facilitate clients in receiving/maintaining structural balancing, increased
range of motion and decreased pain. She uses manual therapies to address
pelvic floor imbalances, abdominal pain and adhesions, urinary incontinence,
menstrual cramping and migraine headaches.
Susan loves to educate and instruct clients about the amazing complexity
of the body mind connection, the digestive system and nutritional awareness.
Susan's passion is in helping individuals obtain and maintain wellness
through holistic approaches to health.
William T. Jacques, MHH, LMT (co-owner)
William received his Masters Degree in Holistic Health
through Trinity College of Natural Health in 1999. Bill became ill
because of environmental exposures while while working with electrical
utility companies. After having his own health issues unresolved through
traditional medical approaches he began researching, educating himself
and taking action with the use of the combination of traditional and
holistic medical approaches to facilitate his return to health and
well-being.
Before moving to Arizona, Bill had his own business specializing in
Electro Dermal Screening, detoxification strategies and client education.
Bill earned his massage certification through Southwest Institute of Healing
Arts and is licensed in Arizona.
He has taken many of John Barne’s
Myofascial Release courses and integrates a variety of massage techniques
with myofascial work to create wonderful, individualized sessions that
are both relaxing and healing.
Bill is a Certified Colon Hydro-therapist and is able to work with
clients with nutritional coaching, and systemic enzyme therapies. He
is trained and certified in the use of lymphatic drainage techniques
and has completed in-depth studies on electrodermal screening using
the BodyScan 2010. Bill is committed to educating and empowering clients
in the use of natural approaches to health and wellness.
